If you are already a tradesman or apprentice with an endorsement that requires yearly continuing education, some or all of your "Plumbing Continuing Education" hours may already have been acquired. For each year you have taken the 6 hour TSBPE provider approved continuing education course, deduct 6 hours of the necessary 6 or 12 hours of plumbing continuing education required for the exam. Since continuing education hours are transferred electronically, it is important to notify the plumbing board that you have already acquired your hours and that they may verify them by manually verifying your TSBPE electronic records. It is a good idea to ALWAYS keep a copy of any certificates you receive to prevent unnecessary confusion when supplying the plumbing board with proof of attendance to any and all classes.
