Course Information:
The 40 hr. tester certification course provides the training and information necessary to become licensed to test and maintain backflow prevention assemblies. This course is approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) with the practical skills portion of the exam provided as part of the course. The practical skills portion of the exam is given the last day of class with the written exam provided at a TCEQ regional office or computer-based testing facility after course completion.

Course Information:
This course meets all the requirements for renewing a Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester's license. The first day is an overall review of the latest cross Connection control and backflow prevention updates. The second day re-establishes the tester's skill level while meeting TCEQ's practical skill requirement. The third day students practice advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques. USC 10th edition cross connection control manual is not included with this course, please ensure you bring your own copy of the USC 10th edition cross connection control manual..
